April Newsletter :)

Wow! another month is flying bye.  A  huge welcome to Samuelu, Grace and Lachy to our centre. We hope that your time with us will be filled with wonderful and lasting memories. 

Yard 

The anticipated state date was the 19/04/2021 with the completion date being 6 weeks from commencement therefore the 14/05/2021 our playground should be completely renovated.

Obviously when renovating hidden factors need to be taken into consideration especially the unpredictable weather we can experience here in Queensland. In the event that the completion date may need to be extended the Centre will endeavour to update you as soon as any change needs to take place.

Due to the amount of yard that is being renovated we have had to implement Routines that will be used to ensure all of the children still get allocated time outside during the renovations. The older children will be using the toddler's yard as their yard will be closed during constructions.

Moving forward our Emergency Evacuation Procedure will need to change therefore with consultation with MHP Fire and Safe we have made changes to our Emergency Evacuation Procedure.

Our Main Assembly Point will now be located on the grass area in the toddler's yard , previously the Assembly Point was in the prep yard. however, this has been identified as an area that is not practical.

I would like to take the time to thank each and everyone of you ahead of time for your patience and understanding whilst this work is being completed. In the event you have any concerns please feel free to come and talk to me.

Staff Leave

Miss Nic will be away from the 17th of May until 17th June at least. She is having a medical procedure during this time. 

New Staff

It has been many years since I have had the pleasure of employing new staff. Our new member is Miss Laurel she will be doing After School Care primarily from Tuesday - Friday. She will also be dong the closes on these days. She is Diploma qualified and has many years of experience. Please say hello when you meet her. I am sure she will be a asset to our small team. 

Public Holiday 

We will be closed on Monday the 3rd of May as it is another public holiday Yay!  We will reopen on Tuesday as usual.
