Welcome to another newsletter.
Firstly, Happy Father's Day to all our dad. We hope you have a wonderful day.
Photo day is 17th Sept 2020. Please ensure that you have made your payment online, or in the envelope provided by the day. Andrew will be here at the centre from 7:00am – 10:00am. During that time, he will take class photos and individual photos. If you are requiring siblings' photos, please book a session. There will only be two classes this year. They will Babies/ Toddlers & Kindy / Pre-prep.
Wednesday the 2nd September is Early Childhood Educators Day. This day recognises and celebrates the work of early childhood educators throughout Australia. It's a chance to say thank you. You can help celebrate by making your favourite educator a card, sending an email or note, or simply just saying some lovely words. I am sure any gesture of gratitude will be greatly appreciated 😊
We have purchased 3 balance bikes for the children. These help to support balance and movement within the younger children. The older children love them as well. The bikes help support confidence and self-esteem. It should enable children to require the use of training wheels on their big bikes for a shorter amount of time.
For children in pre-prep Transition Statements will be issued in Oct for those children going to big school next year.
I know it seems that each year goes faster, but this year I feel has gone quicker than most. This time last year I had never heard the words Coronavirus, Covis-19 or did I know was ISO was. Fast forward to August 2020 and these words are heard on an everyday basis. It has certainly been a turbulent year so far. Once again, we are reminded just how fragile life is and to protect ourselves and those we love. We are trying to stop the spread of infections within the centre by ramping up our already strict health and hygiene practices.
Please provide a change of clothes, hat and a drink bottle for your child. The mornings are still a bit chilly but often warms up during the day.
Thank you for your support and take care.
Until next month
