Welcome to another newsletter. The year is certainly flying by.

School holidays are fast approaching. Miss Carina will be away for the first week of the school holidays. Miss Niki will be away the last 3 day of the holidays.

Thank you to all the parents who dressed their children in Super Heros costumes. The children had heaps of fun and really enjoyed the day.

All the photos are back now. I trust that you are all happy with your prints. Andrew has been with us for about 10 years now and always does a great job. He has left website details if you are wishing to order more prints from him.

The yard is finally complete. The children love it. I am please to say that the Soft fall is made of recycle plastic tubing from hospitals which is in line with our sustainability practices.

One of the major focuses at our centre is Relationship with Children. We are very proud of the security and wellbeing that the children feel while attending our centre. Each educator has a relationship with every child in the centre, not a lot of centres can say that.

RELATIONSHIPS WITH CHILDREN

Good relationships early in life help children to connect with others, build positive friendships and support children to self-regulate their emotions.

Research shows relationships are central to children developing acceptance, self-esteem and higher functioning thinking skills that contribute to positive learning and life outcomes. Educators can take an active role in nurturing, supporting and promoting children's relationships and social skills.

For relationships to be meaningful, interactions need to be warm, caring and responsive. When attention is given to building connections and maintaining them over time, children are more likely to feel a sense of security, well-being and belonging.

Transitions statement should be completed by the end of September / October for those children going to 'big school ' next year .
