Welcome to September

Hello to everyone.

We have had a busy month this month. The children enjoyed a disco which consisted of a mirror ball and disco music. It was great to see the staff and children dressed in Disco gear. I would like to welcome our new families, and welcome back Matthew who has been in Hawaii. You should all have received your photos by now. I am sure you will agree that once again Andrew has done a great job. All the photos are amazing. If you wish to order any extras or have any concerns just let me know and I will forward your issue to Andrew.

Dates:

September 4^th – 15^th September 2017 we have Henny Penny visiting our centre. This is a great program and it enables the children to witness first-hand the birth of chickens and watch them as they develop. If you are interested in taking any of the baby chickens home you can purchase a 'take home pack' at the end of the visit. If by some chance your chicken is a roster, then simply contact the Henny Penny people and they will come and collect him.

Reptile show.

We are having a Reptile show for the kindy and pre-prep children. The cost of this will be approx. $11.00 per child. The children have been expressing an interest in the bugs, lizards and insects that are found in the yard. I am sure the children will enjoy these experiences as the show is very interactive.We will have more information on this as the time draws closer.

Staff Holidays

Miss Sharon is away on holidays from 28^th August 2017 and will return on the 4^th September 2017.

As you are all aware there has been a lot of sickness around lately. Please if your child is sick please do not bring them to kindy. I realise that having time away from work can be difficult, but they only way we are going to stop the spread of germs is if everyone stays home if they are not feeling well.
