In partnership with Early childhood services and local schools, 1-World Charity Shops are assisting in increasing the awareness of recycling and sustainability at Daisy Hill ELC and other participating childcare services and schools.

This is a great opportunity for your family to discuss the importance of reusing, recycling and reducing waste while sorting through your wardrobes and draws to recycle any unwanted clothing and household items.

500,000 tonnes of clothing ends up in landfill in Australia every year, and 1-WORLD has taken on the challenge to divert this valuable resource into making a difference, both locally and overseas through our recycling programs. The more we can recycle, the more we can give back to the community…

Wearable clothing and paired shoes for Babies, Children and Adults

Bed Linen, pillowcases and towels

Children's Toys, school bags and school uniforms

Big demand for winter clothing and blankets

Handbags, other bags, hats, jewellery, belts, wallets and accessories

Plastic containers, crockery, kitchenware, glassware, pots and pans

Sporting equipment, DVD's and CD's, board and electronic games

Good condition small appliances up to the size of small microwaves
