Daisy Hill ELC would like to respectfully acknowledge the Yugambeh people, the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we live.  We also recognise those whose ongoing effort to protect and promote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures will leave a lasting legacy for future Elders and leaders.

Welcome to the first edition of Daisy Hill ELC newsletter for 2019!

First of all I would like to welcome back all our families to the centre after the Christmas and New Year period.  An extended welcome is also due to all our new families who have just joined the Daisy Hill ELC family, we have such a wonderful community within our centre and I encourage all of our existing families to make the new ones feel welcome.  Our newsletters will contain information on what each class are learning and creating throughout the year. The newsletter will also be used to assist families in keeping up with all of the upcoming events throughout the year.

We hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and are ready for the great year ahead.

Policy Information

At Daisy Hill ELC we value and appreciate all family contribution to our environment.  We believe that we are all apart of the one community and therefore all parents are invited to contribute their ideas in all aspects of the operation of our childcare centre. In the upcoming months, we will start our revision of service policies. Currently we are reviewing our Fees Policy. This policy will be attached. We ask if parents would be able to have a read and provide us with some feedback. We appreciate any feedback.

 Sustainability

One of our goals for our first quarter is our Sustainability practices. The children will be learning about recycling, with focus on organics, Landfill and paper.  And the impacts on our environment.
