We also recognise those whose ongoing effort to protect and promote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures will leave a lasting legacy for future Elders and leaders.

Renovation of Outdoor Playspaces

Thank you so much to our wonderful families and children that have been so patient with the current renovation of our beautiful outdoor play spaces. I have been told that the children (if all going to plan) will be able to play in our new yard, mid next week!! This is very exciting.

Welcome to the first edition of Daisy Hill ELC news for 2020!

We are so excited to welcome you all to what we know will be an even better year than last!

Some of our Graduating class have been with us since 2015 and some as recent as 2019, either way, we are just so thankful for the time that we have spent with these families and of course, the children. It is such a precious gift to share in the journey of Education and Care of a child, the memories of which stay with you for years to come, so again, We Thank you and Good Luck.

We welcome the new families that are just starting with us. We hope that you enjoy your time with us!

Next week, the children are moving into the classrooms that they will be officially enrolled in for 2020.

We have many exciting events coming up throughout the year so stay tuned for those updates!

Rachael and the Ladies

We aim to offer high-quality programs for children, balancing child-led experiences and intentional teaching by our educators. We deliver engaging experiences through play with children.

I have been having a few similar conversations with families of late in regards to scaffolding children's learning and ensuring that children are well-prepared learners as they move towards prep programs. Trust us, we do.

We are advocates of learning through play. We are regulated by the Early Years Learning Framework and Kindergarten program and this is reflected in our practices. Play is the foundation for children's well-being and emotional strength. Play allows children the opportunity to showcase their outstanding ability for exploration, imagination, creative ability and development.

Play is fun!

We love your feedback and we encourage you to share with us! Please feel free to discuss any concerns or ideas you may have. Our door is always open and we look forward to speaking with you soon!
