Hello and welcome to the last newsletter for 2017. what a big year it has been with many changes. I have been very lucky to share some of these changes with you all. I will be leaving Doolandella on the 9th January to go back to my centre in Underwood, Evonne will be back on Monday 8th January.
Im very excited for the year ahead with next year promising to be just as big.
I would like to first off wish all the Kindergarten children and their families the best for 2018 and starting school. I know you will all do so well because the educators in the Kindergarten have prepared you well for life.
Thank you to all our wonderful families for making the Christmas Disco a huge success, you guys raised a whopping $1088 to go towards new resources for the centre. I know all of the Educators had a fun night and from the looks on the children's faces so did the children.

Well we have hurtled along to the end of another year all too quickly. Faapepe, Cariad and myself (Sophia) would like to thank all our toddler friends for a wonderful year filled with fun , laughter and learning. We have really enjoyed being your teachers and seeing you grow into confident individuals who are curious and willing to take on new challenges and learning. We have every confidence that all our children from the toddler room will enjoy a smooth transition into the Tweenies room and we look forward to seeing them continue their lifelong learning when they return in 2018.
From Faapepe, Cariad and Sophia we want to wish you all a safe and a happy Christmas and New year with your loved ones
Hello and welcome to all our parents.
The last couple of months we have been revising colors, shapes and numbers by using wooden color blocks, color shape buttons. color hop scotch, shapes hop scotch and numbers hop scotch. We then start to extend this by counting 1 - 15.
At the beginning of this month (December) we are focusing on fine motor skills so we did play dough with stars and glitters and lots of Christmas arts and crafts.
We would like to thank each and every one of our lovely families and children for sharing 2017 with us. We look forward to seeing you all next year. We would also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy and safe festive season, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
