May Newsletter

Hello Families,

We hope everyone is having a wonderful month of May and settling in to the change of weather.  The winter chills have definitely started creeping in, so don't forget to pack some spare warm clothes for your child.

With having some lovely sunny days recently, we have been enjoying some fun in the sun and encouraging the children to remember their sun safety by keeping their hats on.  All of the children recently received a new Centre provided hat.  These are yours to keep and use as you please, so your children can wear them here at the Centre or wear their own hats if they would prefer.  Just a reminder to take them home every now and then, to give them a wash so they are kept fresh and hygienic for the children.

With our Open Day happening on the weekend, we are hoping to see some familiar faces.  Please let any of your family or friends who may be looking for a childcare centre to come along with you for a look.  It should be lots of fun!!

Don't forget we have the photographer in next week to take Children's Kindy/Class photos.  Please make sure you have checked the photo run sheets that are displayed on each of the classroom doors, and also sent out in an Educa post, to see what day your child's photo will be taken.  Please ensure you dress them in the clothes that you would like them to be photographed in.  After their photo is taken, we can change their clothes if need be.  Photos will start from 8:30am in the morning starting Tuesday 25th, Wednesday 26th and final day being Thursday 27th of May.  Photos will be available for viewing 72hrs after photo day and can be purchased online.  Details on how to view and purchase photos will be sent out once they are ready to view.  If you have any questions please see the office.

Next, we want to let you all know about our upcoming pyjama day which will be on Wednesday 23rd of June.  The children can come dressed in their warm, snuggly, pyjamas and enjoy some winter activities with their friends.  Please make sure your child has a change of clothes in case they wish to change out of their pyjama's later in the day.

Lastly, a big goodbye and all the best for the rest of the year.  I am officially on maternity leave from tomorrow for 9 months.  I will hopefully see you all in the new year or around the Centre throughout the year when I am dropping off and picking up my own 2 little kiddies.  Renae will be stepping in as Centre Manager in my absences.  Please feel free to speak to her about anything.

Kind regards,

Evonne
