Welcome to November wow the year has flown by
For those of you who don't know me My name is Allana. I have recently returned to Doolandella ELC after 6months of maternity leave. I will be working along side Leanne in the office. If you have any questions or concerns be do not hesitate to come and see me.
In the lead up to Christmas we will be busy here at the center with our upcoming events and getting our rooms organized for 2018. These will be announced to families once we have it all finalized. These changes will not occur until January 22nd 2018.
For Health and Safely reasons we request that the lunches you provide your child are placed directly in the room fridge on arrival in the mornings. Lunches should be in a named small plastic container or zip lock bag. We do not have room for large lunch boxes in our room fridges. Miss Kylie our cook has been preparing some amazing morning and afternoon teas, which the children have been enjoying. Please do not send morning tea and afternoon tea for your child. You can view our weekly menu on the notice board out side of the center kitchen.
Please ensure you are checking your statements each Monday when they are sent. By doing this it means we can work with you to ensure you are getting charged the correct amounts and you are aware of the direct debits booked in for your account.

Please arrive with your child at 5pm for a 5:30 start
Where: 60 College Avenue, Forest Lake
Due to limited space available in the hall we are having to cap guests to 6 per family.
There will be an opportunity for photos after the ceremony in a designated spot.
There will be a coffee van at the venue on the night for you to purchase hot and cold drinks from.

Food: Food will be available to per-purchase at the front office at a reduced rate
Parking: Extra Parking will be available on the fenced block next to the center car park (On Crossacres Street) Please ensure you park so there is access for other cars.
The center will be open over the Christmas Period. We will only be closed for the Public Holidays: December 25 and 26 2017 and January 1st 2018.

If your child birthday is between July 1 2013 and June 30th 2014 they will be enrolled in our Kindergarten Program for 2018. This week we will be sending out Kindergarten Acknowledgement forms which we will need to be filled out and returned by December 1st. Along with these forms we will require Copies of Birth certificates or Passports along with any government concession cards that your child is on. If you have any questions regarding these form please do not hesitate to ask.
We will be running two Kindergarten rooms again in 2018 with our new Teacher starting in the new year. We will be holding a Kindergarten Information Night in January that will cover the Kindergarten Curriculum, expectations and school readiness.

First Prize is this amazing go cart! - It will be on display in the foyer please discourage your child from touching or climbing on the go cart.
The raffle will be drawn at the Christmas Disco Party on December 15. If you do not attend the party you will be able to collect your prize the following week.
