Welcome to another month of news at Doolandella ELC.
Playground Renovations
Our playground renovations are coming along very nicely. We are getting close to having the senior side completed, possibly the end of next week. Keep an eye on the upcoming improvements and structures going into place next week.
Kiosk Tablets
Please remember to sign your child in / out of the Service on the tablets in the office. Times of attendance and persons signing children in/out are sent to Centrelink weekly. Therefore, it is important you are remembering to do this for your child.
Kindergarten Graduation Photos
We have a photographer coming to photograph our children for their Graduation. The children will be dressed by the photographer in gowns and hats. Individual Graduation photos will be taken on Wednesday 22nd September between 9.00am and 10.30am. Class photos will follow at 10.30am. Parents of children with long hair, please do not put your child's hair in a high pony tail or piggy tails as we have difficulty putting hats on.
There is only one session for Graduation photo's, so please make sure child is here on Wednesday 22nd September. If your child does not attend on Wednesday, can you please bring your child in to have their photograph taken with the class.
Once photographs have been taken, you will have an opportunity to order photo's online. A QR Code and details for photo's will be placed outside your child's classroom.
Up Coming Events
Talk Like a Pirate Day - Friday 17th September 2021. Dress your child like a pirate and allow them to join in the fun with their peers and educators. Talk Like a Pirate Day, is nationally recognised as the major fundraiser for Childhood Cancer and is an opportunity to say "AHOY there, me hearties" to all ye mateys.
