Hi Everyone and welcome to our newsletter for October 2020.

Can you believe though we are actually in October, blink and Christmas will be here. I know many people will be happy to see the end of 2020, however - where has this year gone ?!

Firstly I would like to wish Miss Rupa all the best as she will be finishing up Friday (30th October, 2020) and going on maternity leave, returning sometime in 2021.

Miss Rupa, we wish you all the very best and cannot wait to meet your bundle of joy when they arrive (no one knows what she is having) - lets have a bit of fun, leave a comment what you think Miss Rupa is having.

I'll start of by saying a boy.

A friendly reminder that Miss Kirstie will be taking over from Miss Rupa whilst she is off on leave.

2021 re-enrolments

It is that time of year where we have put out the re-enrolment forms for 2021.

Thank you to those families that have already returned their forms. IF you haven't already done so, could you please ensure you jump on and complete this form, it is all online for your ease. The sooner your forms are returned, the sooner we can confirm whether you will have your chosen days for 2021.

As we are getting a lot of enquiries for 2021 now, it is a case of first in best dressed, so to avoid disappointment, please complete the forms ASAP.

If you are having holidays over Christmas there is a section on the form you can complete to let me know, this helps me to determine whether you are still eligible for any more holiday discount reductions for 2020 and to assist in working out staffing over this period as you can appreciate our staff have families and would like to be able to have some time with them over this period too, knowing the expected numbers of children being away or here helps me to prepare the roster for staffing for this period.

Please copy and paste the link below to complete the form online if you haven't already.

 Leaving children in cars unsupervised

We are noticing of late, children are being left in the car unsupervised as parents are dropping off their other child/ren to the centre.

Please, we ask that you not do this as it can incur a hefty fine from the police but most importantly for the safety and well being of the child or children.

Centre celebrations

At this stage we are still working out how we will proceed with Christmas and Graduation amongst COVID and keeping COVID safe, we will keep you posted as we know more about what we plan to do.

In the meantime we have 2 fun celebrations planned for the centre:

1 - Friday 30th October - Halloween Dress up day, the rooms have their own fun activities planned for this day too as well as the centre will be providing a SPOOKTACULAR menu.

2 - Thursday 12th November - Diwali Celebrations, the centre will be hosting Diwali celebrations, complete with a Diwali show. We will keep you posted on more information in regards to this shortly.

Educa and updates

Please remember that as our newsletter is only monthly, any updates are always posted in our Educa message area. Please check this on a regular basis to ensure that you are keeping up to date with everything that is happening at the centre.

Clothing and season/weather

Now that the weather is starting to warm up again, please ensure that there are clothes for your children to change into that matches the weather. Thank you.

Till next month, keep safe.

With a smile,

Glenda
