COVID-19:

As you know, this pandemic has affected so many. We are working hard with all applicable bodies to ensure that we keep the centre safe.

When picking up and/or dropping off your children, could we please request that only one person comes in to do this. At this time, we are also asking that families do the drop-off and pick up in a timely manner so that we can always be aware of social distancing requirements.

Please remember that at the front door we have a variety of items for you to access to help with limiting germs before you enter the centre. We have the hand sanitiser, gloves and paper towel. This is there for all to use when arriving at and leaving the centre.

At the kiosks we have hand sanitiser, please feel free to use those before and after using kiosks. We also have, if you prefer gloves or paper towel available to assist you in using the kiosks without direct touch.

Throughout the three open classrooms, we have paper towels and hand sanitiser for you as well as in our playgrounds.

We are still keeping two rooms closed to limit the germ traffic. We re-opened another classroom last week with the return of some of our friends. So now have the Nursery, Junior Kindy and Kindergarten rooms open. We ask that families do not travel through the Toddler and Senior Kindy room, to help keep them germ-free.

Reminders:

 * Please remember that the centre will be closed for the Labor Day Public Holiday on Monday May 4th 2020.

* If you wish to return to the centre after being absent due to COVID-19, to please let us know in advance of your planned return, so we can accommodate this.

* If your child is going to be absent for the day, please let the centre know. A phone call or email, so that we can be aware not to expect your child for the day.

* If your child is sick, please keep them home. If we see that your child is sick, we will be sending them home.

Junior and Nursery playgrounds are complete:

We have had some excitement over the past month with the re-opening of our Junior and Nursery yards. The children have been loving the new areas for them to explore and play. For our friends at home still, that haven't had a chance to see the new areas, here are some photos for you to look at.

EDUCA:

I hope all our families are enjoying access to information about the centre and their child or children via the EDUCA app ? Wherever possible, please feel free to leave comments on the posts so that we know you are enjoying this and sharing your thoughts with us is always a much appreciated input that we value.

Till next month, keep safe.

With a smile,

Glenda
