From the office:

Dates to remember:

MONDAY 2nd May 2022 - Centre is closed for the Labour Day Public Holiday

FRIDAY 6th May 2022 - Mother's Day afternoon 3-4pm

What a busy but quick month we have just had, from school holidays to Easter to long weekends. I hope that everyone has enjoyed their month ?

On Thursday April 14th we were excited to be able to host our first family event since COVID has made an appearance. We enjoyed being able to have families with us to celebrate and thank you to all the families that came, we hope that you enjoyed the afternoon with us. A big thank you to our Float Educators who organised and set up this event.

Also a big thank you to Miss Bernadette and the Toddlers who organised a little fun competition, that was set up in their classroom. It was fun trying to count all the easter eggs.

On Friday 22nd April at 10am, we hosted an ANZAC ceremony in-service.

All classrooms were invited to make a wreath to lay.

Miss Glenda gave a talk about the importance of ANZAC Day and why we observe it. We listened to the Australian and New Zealand National Anthems as we lay the wreaths, before Miss Glenda read The Ode and we stood and listened to The Last Post in silence.

On Monday 25th April, Miss Donna took our wreaths to the Logan Dawn Service to lay on our behalf.

Did you catch our special Auslan video message posted on our centre Facebook page ?

If you missed it here is the link below, thank you Miss Danna for helping to send this message to everyone.

You can also see the photos of our ceremony and Miss Donna's family laying the wreaths.

We will remember them, Lest we Forget.

Till next month,

Stay safe,

With a smile 😊
