Hi everyone and welcome back to another edition of our newsletter. I hope everyone is keeping well and safe.

IMPORTANT - A reminder that the centre will be closed on Friday 14th of August 2020 for the EKKA Public Holiday.

GENERAL NEWS:

This month sees the centre turning 11. Happy Birthday to Footprints. It has been an exciting past year since our last birthday, we have seen all our playgrounds undertake major transformation with the upgrades creating beautiful new outdoor environments for the children to play and explore in. We look forward to having some more exciting changes happen over the next year - keep posted for more details when they become available.

We are enjoying seeing the centre looking so busy with many new enrolments, a quick welcome to all our new families and I hope you are all settling in well? Please remember that we have now got limited spots in the rooms, if you are needing extra days, please check to see that this would be something we can accommodate.

Thank you to everyone for working with us continually as we all navigate the unknown path that is COVID-19. We are working hard to ensure the centre is a safe place for all and thank families for using the equipment provided to help keep the centre safe as well as only one person per family doing the drop off/pick up. A friendly reminder that if anyone in the family/household needs to be tested for COVID-19, ALL members of that household should isolate until the test results are received. Once you have been given all clear, a copy of this needs to be emailed to the centre for our records. Thank you for your understanding with this.

If there is ever anything you would like to suggest on how we can improve upon things within the centre, please do not hesitate to get in touch and let us know. We are always aiming to provide a service that meets your expectations.

STAFFING UPDATE:

This month we have welcomed a new staff member to our Footprints Family. Miss Victoria, we hope you have had a chance to say hi to her over the past couple of weeks.

Miss Glenda will be taking some annual leave from Friday 14th August and will return to the centre on Wednesday 26th August. If you need anything whilst Miss Glenda is on leave, please speak to Miss Catherine as she will be looking after the centre whilst Miss Glenda is off. During this time Miss Alison will step up and be the Group leader in the Senior Kindy room and Miss Dana will be the assistant.

Till next month, keep safe and take care.

With a smile,

Glenda
