Graduates of 2017

On January 19th, Footprints held its annual Graduation Ceremony for those children who graduate from Footprints to Prep. We had a beautiful turn out and as always the gathering gets quite emotional. The educators of Footprints are proud of the children we care for and share in the pride in children achieving their milestones and life events. After a speech by Miss Sinead (ECT), certificates handed out, handshakes given and many photos taken, our graduates sang two beautiful songs for our guests before the cutting of the graduation cake. Thank you to all that came and to all educators who helped to make this a memorable event once again. We have been keeping in touch with the families and hear our graduates are all settling down nicely in their new school environments. We even get to see some looking so smart when they come in to pick up their siblings.

We have vision ...

Footprints has a Facebook page that shares information with all about what is happening at the centre and special groups to share more information with families in class form. As some families do not have access to Facebook, we have installed a TV in the Entrance foyer so that we can share photos and updates with families immediately. We have enjoyed seeing families stop and look at the photo slideshow and enjoy hearing your feedback in regards to this. Please let us know if there is anything else you would love to see either in the centre, on our Facebook page or on our entrance TV.

Footprints and Upcoming Assessment and Rating

During the period of 12th March - 6th of April, 2017 the Department of Education and Care will attend the centre to complete our assessment and rating.
This assessment is undertaken by all childcare centres and aligns our practices and processes against 7 quality areas. We are appreciative to our families for their support as we undertake this process. A complete a report for the centre that will be completed in the following months. When this report is completed  we will display this in the foyer for all families to view. We thank all families for their continuing support of staff and for the centre as we continue to provide care and educational outcomes for all the children in our care. If you would like more info, please come and see me otherwise please feel free to check out more information about the process at www.acecqa.com.au
