Welcome to another month here at Footprints. The past month has seen our numbers growing, it has been exciting to see the new faces come and join our Footprints Family. I hope you are all settling in well and please remember if there is anything we can do to make your time here more comfortable, please let me or the other Educators know.
Firstly we would like to welcome Miss Sinead back after being away from the centre for two months whilst she was undertaking her practical component in teaching in a school as part of her Bachelor studies. Miss Sinead enjoyed her time teaching but is happy to be back. Please take some time to say hello and ask her how her teaching adventure went. Welcome back Miss Sinead.
Last month was an exciting time for Miss Emma and her family as they welcomed little Jordyn Eve into the family. Jordyn arrived at 5:41am on Tuesday 19th September. All are doing well.

Booking forms for 2018 have been placed in the family pockets, can you please take these home and have a moment to fill these out and return. The forms are due back by Friday 13th of October. If we have not received your form by this date we will be following up with the families. This form helps us to organise our classes and staffing for 2018. It is also your opportunity to book extra days if needed before the days are given to new families. With the days it is first in best dressed so the earlier you get your forms back to us the better. Of course we will always do our best to accommodate your needs, this just helps to avoid disappointment and secure what you need at the same time allowing us to be prepared for 2018. Can you believe it - its just around the corner?!
Please remember that accounts must be one week ahead at all times. If your account falls behind, we will have to contact you to make a plan in regards to getting the payment from you. Please understand that you have signed an enrolment agreement which highlights that the accounts are to be a week ahead and please understand staff are trying to work with you in order to get your accounts to where they should be, it is not something that we like to have to do but when accounts are not being paid, it unfortunately places staff in that position. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation with this matter.
Daily Reflections which is the information/story about the children's day and photos are available through our private groups on Facebook, if you haven't already, please head on over to our Facebook page and find your child's class group and request to join, once your request is approved you will be able to read this information and see photos any time anywhere. If you need help with finding this, setting this up please see a staff member we will be happy to guide you. Please also remember for regular updates about what is going on at the centre - Facebook is the first place to check and be kept in the loop. At times information specific to classes is placed in the class group section, another reason to join and be kept in the loop at all times.
Thank you to the parents who take time to like and comment on our Facebook page, we appreciate the interaction and it allows us to know what you want to see on the page. If you have any suggestions about things you would like to see on there, please let us know. We are happy to hear suggestions/feedback at all times.
We will be announcing the date of our Graduation and Christmas Party for 2017 soon. So please keep an eye out for this information so you don't miss out. I cannot believe that we are at that point of the year already, as they say - time flies when you have fun. So till next month, keep safe and keep smiling.
