October 2019 News - Please read

From the Office:

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the October edition of our newsletter.

Firstly I want to say a very big thank you for your patience during the construction of the new playground. I hope that having the interim playground routine on display throughout the centre has helped you to know where your child should be in the mornings and afternoons.

We can see the work progressing each day and are getting excited each time we see new things taking shape, we cannot wait to reveal the end result.

The scope of works of what is being done is also on display throughout the centre, I hope you can take some time to have a read and see what is happening.

Enrolments

To begin this section of news I would like to send a very big and warm welcome to all our new families that have recently started with us, it is always exciting when we have new families join and see our Footprints family grow. We hope that your time here with us at the centre is enjoyable.

To all families, please remember, anytime you need assistance with anything, please do let us know.

It is now that time of year where we need to start looking at our enrolments and setting up our classes for 2020.

The 2020 enrolment forms have been sent out to you via email. Please fill out and return these forms. There is a place on there to notify of intended holidays over the Christmas/New Year period.

If your child is heading to prep in 2020, they are welcome to stay here until they start school if required. You will need to fill an additional form to let us know that your child is finishing up in 2020 - termination form. A copy of this form can be found in the blue drawers in the front foyer, of if you wish I can send this to you via email. Please just let me know and I will be happy to send you a copy.

If you missed the email with the link to the re-enrol form for 2020, please copy and paste the link provided below in your browser. Alternatively I have placed printed copies where the sign in and out kiosks are.

Absences, Changes to bookings, Holidays and Termination reminders

ABSENCES -  when your child is going to be away from the centre - could you please send an email, FB private message, or call the centre to let us know. We need to know this information for staffing and ratio purposes. Also for when other families are needing extra days. If we know someone is going to be away and a family asks for an extra day, we know whether we can accommodate this or not. Staff are having to call parents to find out when and if their child is coming, some parents are getting short with staff - to avoid us having to call, please let us know via the options mentioned.

CHANGES TO BOOKING- when needing to change your booking, all changes must be requested in writing - please fill out change of weekly session form, found in blue drawers in front foyer. If booking request is made verbally, it will not be honoured. All changes must be in writing. As with any booking changes, a minimum of 2 weeks notice is required.

HOLIDAYS - when taking holidays from the centre, and you are wanting to use reduced rates, please understand that you need to fill out the reduced holiday rates request form and hand it back with a minimum of 2 weeks notice. This form can be found in the blue drawers in the front foyer, or alternately at any time I am happy to email it to you upon request.

TERMINATION - when needing to leave the care of the centre, a minimum of 2 weeks notice is required. You will need to fill out a termination form, also found in the blue drawers. Your child needs to attend each and every day of this notice period, or you will not be covered by CCS and charged full fees.

Till next month,

With a smile,

Glenda
