Welcome to our latest edition of Jellybean News! From everyone here at Jellybeans we would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our new families that have recently joined us, we certainly hope that you enjoy your time here with us. Just a few house keeping things that need addressing:
If by chance your Direct Debit declines, you will be required to make a payment on your next day of attendance. If you have changed your Bank Account Details or your Credit Card has expired please update these details with me as soon as possible.
We have noticed that due to some children being delayed with their immunisations their CCS has been suspended, therefore full fees are being applied to the account., it is vital that your immunisation is kept current at all times otherwise Centrelink will suspend your CCS and you will be liable to pay full fees.
Please ensure that you are signing your children in and out daily using the KIOSK located in the foyer. If you are having any issues please let me know so we can get the problem rectified. It is vital that you sign your child in and out daily.
Just a friendly reminder the Centre will be closed on the following dates:
Friday - 19th April 2019
Monday - 22nd April 2019

Hello and welcome to the Nursery One monthly Newsletter!!
First of all, let us welcome our new friends and their families to our room. We are thrilled to walk this amazing and meaningful learning journey together.
We would like to say a big happy 1st birthday to Isaac in April. We wish you a wonderful birthday!!
A Huge Congratulations to Miss Jasmine and Miss Ruby as they have received an award for their great team work shown this month.
It has been a fun filled busy month so far. The children are showing a lot of interest in group time activities. We have been focusing on finger puppets and singing songs. The children have displayed music and movement skills by dancing, moving or clapping hands.
As Easter is coming, we will be doing art and craft activities to celebrate Easter.
It is exciting to see some of our babies taking their first steps. We keep encouraging this skill by using the walkers or holding educator's hand to walk during outside/indoor activities time.
We would just like to give a friendly reminder, please label all of your child's belongings, and please pack some spare clothes for your child.
Thank you for your ongoing support and allowing us to care of your little ones.
Take care from Jasmine and Ruby
WOW 2019 is passing by! I hope you all have a lovely Easter and enjoy your long weekend.
For arts and craft we have been making a lot of Easter craft and will then be doing some art for ANZAC day. We have also been learning some new ways of painting and getting very creative. We have also enjoyed some messy play with water, rice and shaving cream. After Easter and ANZAC day we will be focusing on our farm theme and getting to know what animals live on a farm.
At group time we have a blast singing and learning new songs, learning our body parts, learning colours and how to say our friends names.
I would personally like to thank each and everyone of you for bringing in all your child's belongings that is needed for a fun day in toddlers and making sure all your child's belongings are named it is a massive help to us toddler staff and we really appreciate it.
If you have any questions or ideas of fun activities we could do or want to know how your child is please feel free to have a chat to Miss Hayley when ever you would like.

Welcome to another Toddler Two newsletter. We would like to welcome Iris and Leilani to our room who have made the big move up from Nursery. They have both settled in well and have enjoyed getting to know all their new friends.
The children have enjoyed celebrating St. Patrick's Day, Harmony Day and Easter over the past few months. We have incorporated this through different art, craft and sensory activities.
We have programmed a lot of sensory experiences over the past few months. Through jelly play, ice cube play and shaving cream play the children have enjoyed exploring their sensory capabilities.
The children have been enjoying visits to the big yard over the past month. From climbing on the fort, going down the slide and watering the garden the children have enjoyed exploring in the bigger yard.
Miss Nav and I would like to wish you all a very safe and happy Easter.
Until next time,
Miss Steph and Miss Nav
I cannot believe its April already and Easter is so close. Easter Thursday, 19th we will be having a fantastic afternoon. We will be having egg and spoon races, Easter egg hunts plus more.
We hope you are enjoying the Educa site and seeing all the wonderful fun we are having in Junior Kindy.
We are currently learning about nature by planting Pansy seeds. The children were so excited when the seeds began sprouting. Because the plants are so little, we have been using spray bottles to water them. When they are bigger, we will be planting them into our garden bed outside the Senior Kindy room.
Keep checking the Educa Site and I will let you know when we have beautiful flowers for you to see. We also have worms in our garden which the children love feeding with left over fruit from morning tea and watching them wriggle through the dirt.
The children have enjoyed cooking days, so far we have made chocolate crackles, pikelets, cakes and icing biscuits. While we have had so much fun making these things, the best part has been eating them for afternoon tea.
Group time has been especially fun. We have been reading some great books that are helping us with our colours, counting and shapes. Also repetitive books make the children feel as if they are reading the books as well.
We sing lots of counting and colour songs as well as other old favourite nursery rhymes chosen by the children. We are very impressed by how well everyone is beginning to recognise their colours, some can count to 5 and are beginning to recognise a couple of shapes like circles, squares and triangles.
We have had a wonderful few months in Junior Kindy and we look forward to watching your children grow and have so much fun learning new things over the coming months.

Hi and welcome to another Kindy newsletter, the year is just passing by so quickly it's hard to believe that we will soon be enjoyed a refreshing break over the Easter holidays with our families.
In the Kindy room the children have been busy building and reforming relationships with peers as they find their place within the room whilst becoming familiar with routines and classroom rules (walking feet inside, legs crossed/eyes on the speaker when on the mat, hands and feet to themselves, hand up to speak etc.) all that is needed to make the day run smoother and allow for learning to take place.
The last month a lot of learning has occurred within the room with most of the children now beginning to recognise colours with the help of flash cards and programmed experiences and our Space theme which the children really enjoyed doing the art and craft experiences and learning about aliens and planets.
We are currently exploring Easter activities within the room through our art work, storytelling and song with the children loving "Hop little Bunny, Hop, Hop, Hop" as a music and movement activity. Once Easter is over our attention will be focused onto Mother's Day activities, so stay tuned to see what we get up to!
As the weather is becoming cooler of morning and new winter clothes are being purchased please don't forget to label your child's belongings so we can insure that they make it back home as we don't want these items to be misplaced or taken home accidentally by others.
Also please remember to bring 5 to 6 pull ups/nappies per day and the same amount of underpants as well as spare cloths if toilet training. If you are unsure about your child's toileting needs whilst in care or would like to start toilet training, please feel free to talk to either myself or Cristina about the process.
Also bring sheets, a hat and drink bottle each day so that your child can enjoy the full day care experience when playing outside as their health and safety is important to us.
If you have any concerns or questions, please come and discuss them with either myself or Cristina as we will be glad to help.
Until next time Cheers.
Pedeta and Cristina
Welcome to our April Newsletter.
Preschool 2 have been very busy over the past few weeks. We have been writing our names each morning, from the beginning of the year up until now. I have to say WOW! Miss Maree and I are so proud of each and every one of our children they have taken this task on board and nailed it.
Making our beds, putting on our own shoes and packing away the toys after playing has been a positive learning experience that we have enjoyed watching grow.
Independence is a huge key to the developmental learning that we encourage to implement throughout our year.
Preschool 2 have been learning about Shape recognition, Colour matching, Construction building using different types of blocks and Imaginary Role play through taking care of our home corner. The Educators and children have displayed great communication while cooking on the stove, making toasted sandwiches, buying groceries from the shop and packing away the different equipment provided for us to play with.
The Cooking and Science experiments we have been doing have been so much fun, the discussions and expressions on all of the children's faces are great. Cause and effect, taste testing, mixing and watching for the end results have expanded the children's language, problem solving and social skills.
The cooler weather is coming so please pack a top sheet or blanket for sleep time, extra spare clothes and some socks to help keep our toes warm as we don't like wearing shoes all day.
Easter is here so please come join us for our afternoon tea we would love to have you celebrate with us.
We also have been decorating our room with Easter art- contact collage, dot, brush, water colour painting.
Have a safe fun Easter break
Miss Julie Miss Maree xx
Welcome to our April Newsletter! We have been busy little Preschoolers over the last couple of weeks. The children have explored dinosaurs, celebrated Harmony Day and began our Easter crafts. To further develop our understanding on these topics, we have read and looked through books, completed artworks and play experiences.
We have been working hard recognizing and tracing/writing our names. The children have also been working on their fine motor skills and number recognition. If you have any questions about your child's development, please don't hesitate to approach me for a chat. Finally, we hope to see many of our mum's at the Mother's Day Night.
We hope you all have safe and Happy Easter
Please join me in wishing Miss Maree, Miss Margaret and Miss Carla a very Happy Birthday. All of these ladies are very special to Jellybeans and we hope that you all have an enjoyable day for your Birthday.
Please join us for our Easter Afternoon Tea on Thursday 18th April at 2pm. We would appreciate each family bringing a plate of food to share. Please be mindful of the food allergies within the Centre, please do not bring any food that contains nuts. Afterwards we will have some Easter Activities for the children to enjoy.
We would like to congratulate Miss Jasmine and Miss Ruby on receiving an award for their outstanding work performance this month! These two ladies are a credit to Jellybeans! Both Jasmine and Ruby never cease to amaze me with their only going commitment to ensuring that everyone has a happy and smooth sailing day, nothing is ever to much to be asked of them. Well Done Miss Jasmine ans Miss Ruby! You should certainly be proud of the example that you set to others.
Hello from Nursery 2.
The time has come again when we have to say goodbye to some of our friends who will be moving to the Toddler Rooms. Over the last few weeks we have been preparing them for this new adventure by encouraging self help skills and having visits to the Toddler Rooms for play from time to time. We look forward to welcoming some new friends from Nursery 1 who are now ready to take the next step in meeting their individual milestones.
Easter is nearly here and we have been doing some Easter Crafts to celebrate this time. The children have been busy painting, glueing and using crayons to colour in lots of Easter pictures.
Don't forget to log onto our Educa site and see each day what your child has been doing. Please feel free to leave a comment on there. As Educators we look forward to and value any input from you.
Until next time
Miss Margaret and Miss Nittaya
