August News!

Welcome to Jellybeans!

Hello and welcome to another fun filled month at Jellybeans! Well we have certainly had a bit of a crazy month with Lockdown and the implementation of masks, but as usual in true Jellybean style we have all rose to the challenge and conquered forward. A big thank you to everyone that has taken on board our two golden rules whilst at the Centre - Wearing a Mask at all times inside and using the QR Code to sign in with. Please remember the key is to keep everyone safe and well - Our Children, Our Families and Our Educators!

Educator's Day 2021!

Lets Celebrate!

1st September is National Early Childhood Educator's Day!  This year has certainly been very challenging for our Educator's and what better way to celebrate the awesome job they do than showering them with gifts and lots of love. Jellybeans has over 26 Educators that do an amazing job being the fill in Mum or Dad when our Parents are away, so lets say, Thanks!

I would like to encourage all of our families to participate in the following ways:

Please bring a plate of food that can be shared amongst the Educators in the Staff Room.

You can bring this any day during the week of 30th August - 3rd September as I do understand not every child attends on Wednesday the 1st September the main day of celebration.

I will have some paper cut out that you can write some special words of appreciation on placed in the foyer, you can hang it on the Appreciation Tree afterwards.

For those of you that aren't Camera shy, I would love to film you sharing your special words of appreciation or you can send through your own little clip that can be shared.

Carpark Safety!

Please Read!

Just a friendly reminder that children are not to be left unattended in the Carpark at anytime. I have had several concerns raised of late from fellow Centre families in regards to children being left unattended in cars and children not being in car restraints. Jellybeans has not implemented these rules - The Police and Government have! If you need verification as to what is acceptable and what isn't please go onto the following link for restraints:

...

Child restraints | Transport and motoring | Queensland Government

Children up to 7 years old must sit in an Australian Standard approved restraint.
