Welcome to Jellybeans August News!

Hello and Welcome!

A huge shout out to everyone that has recently joined us here at the Centre! We hope that your time with us so far has been amazing and we look forward to creating special memories with you and your family.

Jellybeans has an open-door policy where we encourage our families to come and spend time with their loved ones, here at the Centre. In the past we have had families come and do cooking experiences in their child's room - sharing their culture through food. Is this something that might be of interest to you, if so please let me know so we can book your visit in.

Please remember that all of our Payments are done by Direct Debit, in the event that your payment declines a payment will be required prior to your child attending. Our Statements are sent out weekly, please check the pending payment to make sure it is correct and that the amount pending is in your account for payment.

Don't forget Miss Margaret's Farewell Morning Tea this Friday! We are asking all of our families to please bring in a plate of food to share.

Front Door Access!

Over the coming week every family will be switched over to their own individual code, the current code will be de-activated. I would like to kindly remind you all that you are not to share this code with anyone nor should you open the door and allow people to enter. We have installed a door bell that anyone without a code will have to use.

Access will be denied if you try and enter before your child's booked attendance time - EG: You won't be able to enter before 7.30am if this is the start of your booked session time.

The only people that should be dropping your child off or picking them up during the current time is the child's parents - Mum or Dad. This is to ensure that we are minimising the spread of COVID and we can track who has been within the Centre at any one time.

Educator News!

Miss Trang

Please join me in wishing Miss Pedeta a very Happy Birthday! Pedeta recently celebrated her Birthday and we hope that she had an amazing day!

If your child is celebrating their birthday please feel free to bring in a cake to share. Given the current circumstances cup cakes are probably the better option. Please be mindful of any allergies that children may have when bringing in food items, a Food Allergy List is located on the foyer doors.

Miss Navneet our Assistant in Junior Kindy will be commencing Maternity Leave as of the 28th August, Miss Trang will take on the role of the Assistant in the room with Miss Veronica while Miss Nav is absent.

TOTS Programme!

The Educators have now completed the first step in the Tots Programme, so moving forward if they feel your child may benefit from the programme they will approach you and discuss the next steps that include a visit from the Health Nurse. I kindly ask that you be approachable and assist the Educator to complete the required paperwork being as objective as possible. Early Intervention is the best option and our aim from a Centre perspective is to give every child the best possible start prior to commencing school. The Health Nurse may just point out that your child may need their eyes or ears checked.

Menu Review!

Have you got any Menu Ideas?

With Spring approaching fast we are looking at revamping our Menu. If you have any suggestions please feel free to share them with us.

Please remember our Menu needs to cater for various Medical and Food Preferences that some of our enrolled children have.

I look forward to receiving your wonderful ideas.
