January News!

G'Day and Welcome to Jellybeans!

Our 10th Birthday Celebration!

Firstly lets extend a warm welcome back to all of our families who have been absent over the festive period. We hope that you all had a wonderful break and are all refreshed for the New Year! Everyone here at Jellybeans is energised and very eager to start the New Year. We are hoping for a fun filled year!

For those of you that have joined us in the past few weeks, we hope that you enjoy your time here at Jellybeans and we look forward to becoming part of your extended family.

So what does 2022 have in store for Jellybeans - It's our 15th Birthday this year! Who can believe that we have reached the 15 year mark! With this said we will have Educators that will celebrate their 15th year at Jellybeans but also others that will achieve 10 years of service. This is remarkable, not many Services can say this.

From a Parents perspective what would you like to see happen at Jellybeans this year? Do you have a particular Cultural Event that you would like us to implement here at the Centre or is there something that you would like implemented into our Daily Routines? Parent Feedback and Communication assists our Centre to grow!

Happy Birthday to the following Educators and Children that have celebrated their Birthday during the month of January: Miss Tammy, Miss Grace, Alice, Elias, Isabella, Alena, Levi, Adele and Siya. We hope that you all had a wonderful day celebrating!

Food Allergies or Intolerances!

Food Allergies!

As we are currently reviewing and revising various Procedures across the Centre Food Allergies and Intolerances is another area that needs to be looked at.

If your child suffers with any Food Intolerances, Food allergies or Dietary Requirements due to Religious or Cultural Beliefs please ensure that the Centre is aware of these.

As our Weekly Menu is delivered daily we need to ensure the order being placed meets the needs and requirements of the children enrolled.

Our Weekly Menu is displayed in the Main Kitchen and also uploaded weekly to EDUCA for you to review.

Covid!

Covid Info!

Just a bit of house keeping with Covid!

If anyone in your household test Positive or is waiting on results from a PCR Test we kindly request that you and your children do not attend the Service.

Please adhere to the Government Guidelines and isolate for the 7 day period.

In the event that you have to isolate please send through proof of the Positive Test Result so that your account can be amended under the Government Covid Guidelines.

Enrolment Updates!

Time to Update!

Just a quick reminder that if you have moved house, changed contact details, your email address has changed or your bank account details are different to those that are in our system we need to update these ASAP.

Please send through an email and let me know so I can make the changes for you. If you would like to double check your details please let me know.

Medical Conditions!

Action Plans!

If your child suffers with a Notifiable Medical Condition now is the time to review and revise these.

It is vital that all children that have Medical Plans in place have current and up to date information on file. We have checked the Medication stored at the Centre and any that is out of date or due to expire the families will be notified.

Under Government Regulations any child with a Notifiable Condition can not attend the Service with out a completed Action Plan and Medication that has not expired.

Birthday Celebrations!

Happy Birthday!

If you would like to celebrate your child's special day here at Jellybeans, we are only too happy to help. We can organise Dress Up days to make it just that little bit special or you may want to organise a Dress Up Character to visit the Centre, let me know what you are thinking and we will do our best to assist you.

Our only request is any food item that is brought into the Centre remains in it's original packaging and has a expiry date and list of ingredients attached.

Miss Manaia in our Pre-School Room will be kicking off the Birthday Celebrations as she will be celebrating her 5th Birthday in February. Stay tunned for the finer details!
