Hello and welcome to our March Edition of Jellybean News!
Who can believe that we are already in March? Autumn has now started to settle in with slightly cooler nights. Over the past few weeks we have welcomed a few new families to the Jellybean clan. We hope that you guys enjoy your time here. For our new families and those that are not aware we have a Centre only Facebook Page for families of the Centre. If you would like to be linked to this page please see Cindy for further information. This is great way to keep up with different things that are happening around the Centre plus you get to admire the photos we upload of the activities the children are doing throughout the day.
Entertainment Books
If you are interested in purchasing on of these amazing books please see Cindy or Margaret. We are currently taking orders and should have the books very shortly. Remember there is a digital version that can be purchased as well. The Centre receives commission for each book sold. These books are not just for families of the Centre so please share this initiate amongst your family and friends.
Congratulations!
A big congratulations to Miss Sein who has officially worked here at Jellybeans for 10 years. This is a wonderful achievement, something that Miss Sein should be very proud of. It is wonderful to see such dedication from the Educators that work here, especially when we reflect and identify 7 Educators that have been here for more than 10 years. We are certainly looking forward to celebrating our next 10th anniversary.

Miss Margaret was super excited to receive these items on behalf of the Centre. Easter Afternoon Tea
On Thursday the 29th March we will have our annual Easter Afternoon Tea. We would appreciate each family bringing in a plate of food that can be shared amongst the children for afternoon tea. Parents are more than welcome to join us for afternoon tea. The Easter Raffle will be drawn on the 29th March. If your family is planning on taking leave during the Easter period please let Cindy know, either by email or by leaving a note in the Parent Communication Book located in the foyer.
Centre Closed
The Centre will be closed on the following days of the Easter period:
Friday - 30th March 2018
Monday - 2nd April 2018
Wednesday - 25th April 2018
Policies and Procedures
Each month we display a Centre Policy or Procedure for our families to review and revise. If you have any input that you would like to share please feel free to do so. This input is used to make the relevant changes to the Policy or Procedure as required. We also have our QIP information in the hallway that leads to the Nursery Area. Please take the time to answer the questions that are display.
Pen Pals
To further enhance the children's understanding of the world in which we live this year the Pre-school children will have the opportunity to communicate with children from around the world through our Pen Pal System. So far the children have been very excited to receive three parcels from Greece and one from Leeds in England. Please keep an eye out for our Pen Pal Wall that is in process. On this wall we will display the cards and link their origin on a world map so the children have a better understanding of where each parcel has traveled from.
