May Newsletter

Welcome to our latest edition of Jellybean News!

Firstly lets extend a warm welcome to all of our new families that have recently joined us, we certainly hope that you enjoy your time here at the Centre. We can certainly tell the seasons are changing especially with the change in the weather and the shorter daylight hours. Where is 2018 going? I would just like to remind everyone that if your Direct Debit declines a payment will be required on your child's next day of attendance. It is vital that accounts are kept up to date at all times. In the event you may need assistance please feel free to come and have a chat.

Pre-School Dental Visit

Story time - Dental Hygiene
Dental hygiene discussion

So as most of you are aware the Pre-School children were extremely lucky to have the Dentist visit them. During the visit the Dentist discussed the importance of healthy eating and dental hygiene with the children. Those children that had returned permission slips had a quick dental examination and were given a goodies bag to take home. If you received a slip saying that your child needs  a further assessment completed please ring the number provided and book your child's appointment as soon as possible. Early intervention is the key to healthy teeth.

Librarian Visit

The Brisbane City Council Library has contacted us to book a session with their Librarian. The children in the Pre-School Room will be having a visit with the Librarian on Thursday 31st May at 9.30am. During the session the children will read a couple of stories and participate in some art and craft activities.

We would like to say thanks to those that attended or supplied a plate to share for our Mother's Day Morning Tea. A special big thanks needs to be extended to the Educators for the hard work they put in organizing the special activities for the morning to make it the success it was. Congratulations to those of you that were lucky enough to win one of the prizes in our Mother's Day Raffle.

Educator News

Miss Navneet
Miss Ruby

We would like to welcome Miss Ruby and Miss Navneet to our team of educators. Both of these ladies have their Diploma in Children Service's, current Blue card and First Aid Certificates. Please help us make them fell welcome.

Boot Camp

One of our parents is very eager to start up a Boot Camp in the area. If you are keen or know someone that might be please contact Willie on 0413 977 218.

Warm Clothes

As the weather is certainly a bit unpredictable at  the moment I would like to encourage our families to ensure that their child has a jumper in their bag each they attend Kindy. Please remember to clearly label your child's belongings as this will help ease the confusion especially when everyone wears the same jumper.........Paw Patrol, Frozen or PJ Masks.

Congratulations

Miss Veronica
Miss Teresa

The 27th May represents another Birthday milestone for Jellybean Childcare Centre.  Please help me congratulate Miss Veronica, Miss Teresa and Miss Cindy for their ongoing commitment to the Centre. All three ladies have been here at the Centre since the first day of operation. Well Done!
