November News

Welcome to our November Edition of News

Firstly from everyone here at Jellybean Childcare Centre we would like to welcome our new families that have joined us since our last newsletter. We certainly hope that your time here at the Centre is enjoyable and full of lasting memories.

As the year is slowly coming to an end I would like to remind everyone about December and January Holidays. If you are planning on taking leave during this period please let me know so the dates can be added to your account. Please remember the Centre does close for the main Public Holidays.

Family Portraits are on again this year. The Photographer will be here on the 25th November. We have a few spots left in the afternoon, so if you are keen for an updated Family Portrait please book yourself in.

As most of you would be aware we have our Christmas Trolley in the foyer eagerly awaiting donations. Please feel free to donate anything that is non-perishable to the trolley. Raffle Tickets have been placed in your child's pocket and if you would like more please see the box located in the foyer. Tickets are $1.00 each.

Some of the wonderful raffle prizes you could win!

Happy Belated Birthday

From everyone here at the Centre we would like to wish Miss Carol a very Happy Belated Birthday! Miss Carol was off relaxing under the sun in Thailand for her Birthday, so we had to wait for her return to celebrate with her. Happy Birthday Miss Carol!

Happy Feet Display

The children were all very excited to perform their Happy Feet Routines for their Parents and Grandparents on Tuesday morning. It was lovely to see the smiles on the children's faces are they performed. A big thank you to Miss Ella for all of the hard work and dedication you have put in this year. The children really enjoy their Tuesday mornings with you.

Pint Sized Picasso

We would like to thank everyone that attended our Pint Sized Picasso. After viewing all of the amazing pieces of art I certainly feel we have a few Picasso's in the making here at Jellybean's. I hope that these masterpieces are something that you will look back on in years to come and remember your child's time here at the Centre. They certainly are priceless memories. A special thanks must be passed on to the Pre-school Educators for their dedication and commitment in making the night a huge success.

Fire Department Annual Audit

On Wednesday the 22nd of November we will have our Annual Audit from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services. Please do not feel alarmed if you arrive and the Fire Truck is parked in the carpark. These Audits are completed annually to ensure the Centre is fully compliant and that we meet the necessary requirements that are required by the Law. Hopefully we might get a sneak peak at the Fire Truck too.

Pre-school Graduation

After a lot of deliberation we have decided to stick with the original plan of having the Graduation here at the Centre. Unfortunately the cost involved to use the hall on a Friday night is a little outrageous and we feel the Hire Fee would be better used elsewhere. So Friday the 15th December is the date that our Pre-school Graduation will be held here at the Centre.
