Welcome to September News!

Hello and welcome to our latest edition of Jellybean News! For those of you that have recently joined us we hope that you have an enjoyable time here with us at the Centre. We certainly hope that Jellybeans becomes your second family. Please remember that we have an Open Door Policy and you are more than welcome to come and spend as much time here at the Centre as you want. For those of you that may want to come and share a special talent you have or perhaps a cooking experience with your child's room please let your child's Educator know so we can book a time that is convenient to everyone.

I would just to remind everyone about the importance of ensuring their Bank details are correct. If you have changed your Bank Account recently or your Credit Card has expired please come and see me to get a new Direct Debit Form. For those of you that are having difficulties with your Direct Debit please double check the day your Direct Debit has been set up to come out so that you do not incur the Dishonor Fee. Any Direct Debit that declines will need to be corrected on your child's next day of attendance.

As the weather is now starting to get a bit warmer please remember to ensure you child has some cooler clothes in their bag, so we can make them comfortable. We do understand in the early morning it is still quiet cool but as the day progresses it has been getting quiet warm. It also appears some of our families are forgetting to bring spare clothes for their children, unfortunately we do not have a huge supply of spare clothes. Please double check your child's bag to ensure they have the following each day : A hat, Spare Clothes, Water Bottle and A Sheet for Rest Time.

A special thanks to those of you that have either brought in some Water, A Donation for our Care Packs or even supplied both! We have already given Bunnings a pallet of water for the Granite District and we are in the process of filling our second pallet which Miss Margaret and myself are working on delivering. Awesome work Guys! We would like to get the Care Packages and Water Donations sorted by Friday the 27th September, so please keep the donations coming.

Until next time

Community Incentive

For families with children starting Prep next year, or whom already have older children at school, this is a perfect program for families to get that bit of extra help to ease the financial pressure.

Friendly Reminder!

Please remember when bringing in Medication for your child, Regulations state the Medication must have a Chemist Label attached to it that clearly identifies the following:

Child's Full Name

Name of Medication

Dosage to be Administered

Expiry Date

If the Medication does NOT have the label attached the Medication will NOT be administered. Please keep in mind this applies to over the counter Medication as well - Cough Mixture, Panadol, Nurofen, Eye Drops, Teething Gel, Nappy Rash Cream etc. A Medication Form needs to be completed each day and given to the Educator with your child's Medication when Medication is required.
