International Day of Families focuses on the role of families and family-oriented policies in promoting education and overall well-being of their members. In particular, the Day is to raise awareness of the role of families in promoting early childhood education and lifelong learning opportunities for children and youth.

International Families Day is Monday 15 May - we will commence this in our Program and continue the learning journey with the children for weeks following.

We have a few activities set out for this Event - please see below.

Friday 2 June

This is a very special show about the family structures that are in our Community today. Costumes will be used to tell a story about a family adapting to changing circumstances and relationships. We will soon discover that all families live and love in many different ways. Permission slips will be found in your child's pocket - a fee is involved. Please feel free to come along with your child to watch this show even if it is not your child's usual day of attendance. (Parent must stay with their child)
