Welcome to our March Edition!
Educa
Educa is a platform for sharing information about the class day and also your child's individual learning portfolio. If you have not signed up to this platform and need support, please be sure to let us know.
While we all love updates, please keep in mind that it's not possible to take photographs of all 118 children in attendance each day and write up an individual story. We like to ensure our Educators are interacting and supervising the children first and foremost. Some days may be a little busier than others and the daily updates may not get posted until later that day. Please remember you are welcome to call or email the service. Our rosters are also designed to ensure you should see at least one Educator in the morning and one in the afternoon. Please keep in mind this may not be possible on the days our Educator are unwell.
Illnesses
As per the recommendations from the National Health and Medical Research Council (5th Edition "Staying Healthy Preventing Infectious Diseases in Early Childhood Education and Care Services"), "If a child is not well enough to participate in activities they should stay at home." To help stop the spread of infection we ask that families adhere to this recommendation. If your child has been unwell the night before, please ensure that they are seen to by a doctor prior to attendance and provide a medical certificate on arrival.
Class Photos
Our centre photos will be taken the week commencing the 28 March. Photo slips can now be collected from the foyer, located near the sign in/out kiosks. The photo slips are due back Monday 28 March.
Kindergarten Acknowledgement
If your child is attending our Kindergarten Class in 2022 and will be attending prep in 2023, please follow the link below to fill out the Kindergarten Acknowledgement form.
PLEASE NOTE - Birth certificate is required - so if you have previously filled out the form and have not returned the birth certificate, please resend.
These forms are now overdue! Thank you to the families who have already submitted theirs.
Easter Hat Parade
Save the date! Thursday 14 April we will be holding an Easter Hat Parade follow by a morning tea. We ask that the Easter hats are made at home in preparation for the parade.
RSVP is required by Friday 8 April. We are asking if every family could please bring a plate of food to share.
The parade will commence at 10:15am.
Extra-Curricular Activities
We will be recommencing our Extra Curricular activities. Once the time schedules have been confirmed we will share the information with you. At this stage we have Billy's Buddies attending every Thursday morning.
