Dashain & Tihar Celebrations
It has been a pleasure to host the Nepalese Language classes this year at Kidz Magic.
On Saturday 14 October I was invited on behalf of Kidz Magic to join the Nepali Community in celebrating the Dashain & Tihar Celebrations. We received an award of appreciation on the night and the hospitality was amazing. We look forward to working with them again in the New Year.
Diwali Celebrations
Diwali Celebrations will be held this Thursday. Don't forget to bring a plate of food to share and the children are asked to dress in a cultural outfit.
The children will be participating in many exciting experiences - we will be making Rangoli's and tasting some yummy food.
We will also have dancing along with other cultural experiences.
Interactive Parent Input
As most of you have already seen, we have a new Interactive Parent Input area at the sign in/out area in the foyer. A new question will be displayed every 2-4 weeks. We ask that you provide feedback by placing a stone in the Yes/No pot. If you wold like to leave further input, a message book is also available for you to make feedback and suggestions. Your input is important to us and vital to providing continual improvement.
The answer to our last question was - Yes - your child's portfolio is available for you to read at anytime. They are made available in your child's room in their display folder on the shelves. Thank-you for your input in relation to this month's question.
Family Portraits
Our Family Portraits this year will be held on Sunday 19 November. Places are filling up fast. Please ensure you make your booking at the office or email
For $20 you will receive a huge 10"x13" Family portrait plus a key ring. What a great affordable Christmas gift or simply to up date your current Family Portrait. You are under no obligation to purchase any more prints .
2018 Bookings
Thankyou to the families who have returned their booking forms for 2018. Room changes and change of booked days will not commence until Monday 22 January. Please ensure you have notified the office of your intent to take holidays over the Christmas/New Year Period. I am requesting that you provide your family leave as soon as possible. It is a busy time of year and this will also allow me to approve staff leave over this time, so that they can spend Christmas with their families too.
