Immunisation
Thankyou for providing your updated immunisation schedules. Remember for future references you can log on to your MyGov account - go to medicare and email your child's current immunisation schedule. It's so easy.
Assessment & Rating Visit
We are very excited to share with you our assessment and rating dates. Wendy from Metro City - Early Childhood Education and Care will be visiting our centre on Thursday 13 September and Friday 14 September. Wendy will spend 2 full days with us and during her visit, we will be demonstrating how we achieve quality education and care outcomes for children. If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to ask. A report will be prepared after the visit and we look forward to sharing the results with you, when we receive them.
Junior Kindy Feedback
Can you believe all our Junior Kindy children are 3 years old! Our Educational programs change to meet the individual needs of the children. So while the Centre is full children's developmental needs are still met.
This also means that we can reduce from 3 Educators to 2 Educators. However as we aim to provide High Quality Care - we believe that 3 Educators will assist our program planning and interactions with children to ensure we maximise each child's learning. I will revisit this in 4-6 weeks. So please feel free to provide your input on the staffing requirements in the room. All feedback can be provided by emailing the centre -
Miss Ruth and Miss Anu will welcome Miss Mai or Miss Anastazia as the third Educator. The children know these Educators - we aim to keep continuity of care and stepping these Educators in the room from their usual float position allows this.
Diwali Celebrations
Each year we celebrate Diwali. Our events on the day are planned by parents within our centre. We currently have parents volunteering this year too. If you would also like to help with preparing this years celebrations - please come and see more or please email the centre -
Our celebrations will take place on 7 November.
Cultural Performance
We have been lucky to be able to book a cultural performance during their tour of Australia.
This is a rare performance within Early Learning Centres.
The performance forms a part of our learning program and we are excited to share this opportunity with the children.
When - Tuesday 18 September
Cost $10 per child
Payment is required by Wednesday 12 September and we do encourage all children from Toddlers - Kindy to attend as part of our learning.
Payment can be made at the office.
