Read with Me Day

Reading, and being read to, is critical to a child's development so having access children's books and developing a love for reading is important.

So on Thursday 14 June we will be celebrating 'Read with Me Day'.

Calling all Grandparents...

We are asking Grandparents to join us on Thursday for 'Read with Me Day'. If there are any Grandparents that would like to read stories to small groups of children between 10am-11am then please let us know.

The Grandparents are also invited to stay for Morning Tea. Don't forget to ask the Grandparents to bring along their favourite children's book too.

Please mark this event on your calendar now and don't forget to see if the Grandparents can join us!!

It is never too early to start the path of reading to a child.

Don't forget that we have a borrowing library too. Many families are utilising this, if you need more information on how it works please come and see me.
