July Newsletter

Newsletter July 2018

Welcome to our first newsletter of 2018 we would like to take this opportunity to welcome all our new families to our beautiful centre. As everyone will be aware the weather has changed, we are having dark and cold mornings with showers of rain throughout the day. Children in the morning we can see are feeling the cold, please ensure you have packed warm spare clothes including extra socks. With this type of weather we also find that colds, flu's and temperatures start to appear, if your child is showing signs of being unwell please look at keeping them home until they are feeling better.

Open Day

On the 23rd June we had our Open Day our theme was Ice Age. How lovely to see the children and parents having fun playing in the snow and searching for Dinosaurs. We enjoyed face painting, jumping castle, visiting with the baby farm animals and a sausage sizzle while showing off our wonderful centre to new families. What a wonderful morning we all had, thank you to everyone who came to visit and tour our new centre, we look forward to seeing you when you start your first day with us soon.

Immunisation Updates 2018

In July 2018, the childhood immunisation schedule was updated. Your child's due date for their next immunisations has not changed. Immunisations are still given at 2,4,6,12,18 months and 4 years of age.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Uncle Barry for not only attending our Open Day but also for being a part of our service. We are looking forward to working with him and learning all about the Aboriginal and Torres Strait cultures which we will be embedding into our daily curriculum. We would love our families to share with us your cultures and traditions within your family framework. Please if you have any pictures, photos or items you could bring in to share with us we would love to celebrate your family within our service.
