Can you believe it's nearly the end of august already? We have had a very busy month here at Little Darlings.

All the staff and children had a wonderful week celebrating Christmas in July. Our cooking day was very successful with the children having great fun cooking different treats to celebrate Christmas in July. The disco was a great hit amongst all the children singing and dancing to our favourite tunes.

Our week was crazy busy with a sports day and also a Pyjama day. Everyone had great fun both days.

Our gardens are thriving and we have been able to pick our first snow peas from our plants. This was very exciting and the children loved tasting them.

We have also celebrated red nose day at the centre by enjoying some special red nosed cupcakes. This week we are celebrating book week and had a wonderful morning with the children and staff dressing up as their favourite book character as well as enjoying sharing special books with the children.

The preschools performed a wonderful version of 'Pete the Cat' which uploaded on educa for all the parents to see.

Thank you very much for everyone's continual support as we all navigate through the unchartered waters the virus keeps throwing, especially knowing that there have been some cases close to home. Please remember to sanitize your hands when you arrive at the centre and follow our hygiene signs. Thank you to everyone for your support in helping us to stop the spread of infections by keeping your children home when they are sick or present with any illness symptoms. Please also ensure that if you yourself present with any symptoms, please do not come into our centre, as we do not want any illnesses spread. This includes temperatures, runny noses, flu like symptoms, vomiting or diarrhoea. Thank you again to everyone for being so vigilant and careful during these times.

Please ensure that you send your child's hat, water bottle, spare clothes and sheets each day.
