Happy New Year!!

Happy new year to everyone and we hope that 2023 is a year filled with good health and happiness. We are all looking forward to a fantastic year ahead filled with many fun learning opportunities, lots of laughter, reaching many milestones and of course creating memories and friendships which will last a lifetime.

As many of our pre-schoolers are finishing up in the next few weeks, we wish them well as they embark on the next chapter of their lives. We wish them all the very best and hope they will still visit us.

We would also like to welcome all of our new families who are starting with us in 2023. We are all very much looking forward to getting to know you and your family.

Please remember everyday to send your child with a hat, water bottle, sheets and spare clothes. Please also do not forget to label all belongings.

We will be transitioning all the children to their new rooms on the 23^rd January. However, over the last month, and for the next couple of weeks, all of the children have been and will be going for visits to their new rooms. This is very exciting for everyone. The staff will be supporting all of the children and ensuring that these transitions are running smoothly.

Many of our families have travelled overseas for the holiday period, and we hope they are all having a wonderful time travelling. We are keen for all their stories and adventures and wish everyone a safe return over the next couple of weeks. Also over the last month, we have had Jothy, Foram and April all travel back to their home countries to visit family, and next week Rinal will also travel home to see her parents living in India. We look forward to their safe return also. We are very lucky to have a strong team of casual staff whom support us when our staff are away on holidays or unwell. The children are very familiar with all these staff and this makes it easy for us when staff are away for various reasons.

We are finalising our calendar of events for 2023, and if you have any special celebrations you would like us to include, please let us know. We will be celebrating Chinese New Year 22^nd January 2023.

I hope everyone is getting their head around our new system XAP. Please look out for the email every Monday highlighting the payment amount and what day the amount will be deducted. You will always be emailed on a Monday with these details. If you are not receiving them, please go onto your app and edit your email address, or let me know, and I can help you to find the details. The advantage of knowing what is due to come out will help highlight any upcoming CCS issues and also you will be able to know the exact amount being deducted for that week.

Also some of you may have found the feature of where you can mark your child absent for the day if they are not coming in. This will notify us, then saves you calling us to let us know your child is unwell.

Please also be continually vigilant with not sending your child when they are sick. please be aware there are still many cases of covid around, so please do not bring your child if they are showing any signs or symptoms. e.g. runny nose, cough or fever.
