Winter has well and truly arrived and brought some very chilli mornings with it. We want extend a big welcome all of our new families who have started recently and are pleased you have all settled in well, and we have loved getting to know you all.

Our playground renovation started yesterday, with the fences being erected. We are thrilled and eagerly awaiting the project to be finished. We are excited for the new opportunities for learning and creativity and lots of fun times ahead. We are having ALL of our surface upgraded with new artificial grass, along with all new soft fall pads underneath. We will be putting in a Yarning Circle, and are also very excited to see the addition of a soccer pitch. We will also be adding a new bike track, as well as having new swings which will replace the old ones. We are also very keen for the addition of a new deck which will be built alongside the sandpit. We can not wait to show everyone when it is completed.

Earlier this month we celebrated NAIDOC week where the children loved learning and listening to stories about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.

Tomorrow is Pyjama day, so come dressed in your pyjamas or your favourite onzie for a great day of fun.

Wednesday 4th August is our photo day. Little Images will be taking the children's photos from 8:00am till 11:00am. Please feel free to drop in on this morning, even if your child does not attend that day, as their photos will still be taken. Also, please feel free to bring siblings in for the photos. All photos are to be prepaid by the day prior to the photo shoot. Please go to the website littleimages.com.au and enter the order ID which you can find on our educa post or on the counter near the sign in tablets.

Wednesday 11th August is the EKKA holiday, and our centre will be closed.

Please remember to bring your child with a jumper each day, as it is getting quite cold late in the afternoons, and also please send a small blanket or cover sheet for rest time during these cooler months.

We are all keen to see the progress of our playground, so when you get a chance, pop your head out the back to see the transformation, but we will surely keep you updated.
