Spring has arrived and we are all welcoming the new season as we inch closer to the end of the year.

A huge welcome to all of our new families joining our centre.

Please let us know if there is anything you are unsure about, and let us know if we can help in any way to ensure you have settled in well.

Our playground upgrade is complete and it looks amazing. The children are loving the new outdoor areas and exploring the different play spaces.

The soccer pitch is becoming a favourite amongst the children, as well as the new swings and bike track.

Our photo day was a huge success, with all of the photos turning out absolutely beautiful. Reprints have been reordered and I am sure these too will be arriving very soon.

We celebrated Father's day this month and the children had such a great time creating their special cards and gifts.

This month, we celebrated early childhood educators day. This was an opportunity for me to thank and appreciate everything our Little Darlings Educators do daily. They are all awesome and I am truly grateful for the amazing job they do every day.

I will be emailing 2022 enrolment forms out to all our families. Please fill it out online and submit the form. This will be an opportunity for you to let us know your requirements for next year. You will be able to indicate whether you would like to swap days, add days, drop days etc. Also it is for our preschool families to let us know what date will be their last day at the centre. Our pre-schoolers are welcome to stay until the Friday before school starts. We will be celebrating our preschool graduation mid-January, and details will be sent to these families.

This Wednesday, Fun Smiles dental will be visiting our centre and give a talk to our children on dental hygiene. For those registered and eligible, the dentist will be seeing the children on Wednesday 6th and Friday 8th October.

Friendly reminder to parents to please call the centre if your child is going to be away for the day. This helps us with staffing numbers and also helps Motoki for catering.

Another important message is to please make sure you sign your child in and out every day. This is a very important requirement which is essential each day.

Even though today we have had very welcome rain, please ensure that as the weather warms up, please dress your children in sun safe clothes. (no singlet tops, sleeveless dresses etc) Please also make sure you have applied sunscreen in the mornings on arrival, and also please make sure your child has a water bottle and hat daily.

And lastly, please wear your mask when coming into our centre and remember to social distance at all times.

Don't forget Monday 4th October is a public Holiday and the centre will be closed.
