Hello everyone, welcome to April. How quickly the year has flown by so far! Easter is just around the corner. For those of you who are travelling over the school holidays please stay safe and have a wonderful time.
As you can all see our construction zone is constantly changing and developing. We are now into our final stage of the back yard. Our new sports area has opened as well as the garden area. Only the sandpit and stage area left to go! During this final stage there are some changes to our evacuation procedures. Our temporary assembly area will be the gate at the back of the sports zone. We have also put up new evacuation diagrams in all rooms and areas. These are yellow so please take a moment to locate and know where these are on your way through.
You may also have noticed that some aspects of the outer building have started changing in preparation for the outer makeover. We are looking forward to our new look for the building and car park.
Meals: Thank you to all of our parents for your patience, support and encouragement of your children while we introduce our meals. Our first week was very successful and our second week is also proving to be a winner. Our cook Lana is making some super yummy foods for the children to try. We will be putting all of our recipes into a book later on in the year which families will be able to purchase as a small fundraiser. Our favourite thing so far has been the chocolate and beetroot slice and we have had a few requests for the recipe already. I have included it at the bottom of the page :)
Just a reminder-please do not send any lunchboxes with the children, only late afternoon snack if they are here after 5pm.
Finally we have found her! Welcome to Miss Odette-our new Early Childhood Teacher. Odette will be working in the Pre-school room educating and preparing our children for school next year. Odette has had over 20 years experience in the Early Childhood field and we are so happy to have her join our team. We will be holding a Parent Night for all Pre-school families on Tuesday 30th April to formally meet Odette and so she can talk about her educational philosophy, curriculum and goals for the children.
Miss Kelly will be on leave from 11th April and returning on 23rd April. In her absence Miss Sarah will be the Acting Director and responsible person in charge of the centre.

Fees: Please ensure your fees are up to date at all times as per our fee payment policy, even over the holiday period. Direct Success charge a $14.95 fee whenever your payment declines. This is automatically withdrawn first when your next payment is run so please be aware that the extra amount will need to be available if you have a declined payment. Please note that this is NOT a fee from our centre.
Session Times: If you are on session time bookings please ensure you are arriving and departing within the time limits. Late fees will automatically be applied to accounts if you are signing in before or after your session times.
Sign in and outs: Please remember to sign your children in and out every day they attend. If our kiosks are down please ensure that you are confirming the missed sign ins on your next attendance. If you are not signing your child in and out your CCS may be affected.
Toys: Please leave your children's toys at home. We have many toys at the centre. We are finding an increasing amount of toys coming in with children and they are becoming lost or broken or causing arguments. Staff cannot be held responsible for lost or broken toys. If your child has a Show and Tell day we encourage you to assist your child in finding an interesting object or photo to share rather than toys.
