December Newsletter
Hello families and friends,
Well here we are at the end of 2019. What a wonderful, fun filled year it has been for us here at Cannon Hill.
We have welcomed many new children and families and have had many fun experiences together.
As the holiday season is upon us we would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Many of you will be travelling over this period so please stay safe and alert.
The children have been participating in many experiences in the lead up to Christmas with great enthusiasm and excitement. We have seen art and craft activities, stories, Christmas decorating and even elf hunts. You will see all of these stories and more through your Educa account.
Thank you to everyone who came to our Christmas party and joined in the fun. Our Senior Kindy and Preschoolers performed brilliantly on the night and we are all so proud of them. There was also an array of lovely food for everyone to choose from. Santa sends his thanks and says he really enjoyed meeting all of our happy children.
We would like to send out a special mention to those parents and family members who came and assisted us with storm clean up. Your help and time is so very appreciated and we couldn't have done it all without you. To the many parents who also called and offered to wash towels and help sort things for us- we thank you as well. Our Cannon Hill community is phenomenal and we are all very much a family who pull together in challenging times. Thankyou all for your dedication to our centre.
A Big Congratulations goes out to our Graduating class of 2019.We are all very proud of your achievements this year. Best of luck with big school in 2020.

Water for Stanthorpe!
One of our wonderful grandparents, Danny is collecting water to transport to Stanthorpe. We are currently collecting donations of water in the front foyer. Please bring in your donations asap as Danny will be travelling back up to Stanthorpe after Christmas. If you would also like to donate money to assist with fuel costs please see our staff.
Friendly reminders!
Fees: Please remember that fees need to be in advance at all times, even over holiday periods. Direct Success charge a fee of $14.95 for declines. We are aware that there is generally more spending over holiday periods but respectfully ask that your centre fees also be a priority in order to keep your enrollment within the centre.
Breakfast: Our breakfast policy states that we will serve children breakfast up to 7.30am. after this time we are unable to serve breakfast to children and kindly request your children have their breakfast at home if arriving at the centre after this time.
Lost property: Please check in your childs room and on the shoe shelf outside for any items that belong to your child.
