We Welcome You!
Welcome back to the centre this year. We are very happy to see many families return, to continue thier child's learning journey with us. we are excited to have some new faces join our centre too. We welcome these families and hope you enjoy being a part of our community.
Recently the Educators have come together and planned many exciting events for the beginning of the year and hope you and your child are eager to join us in these activities. these are detailed below
Upcoming Events at Our Centre
Chinese New Year celebrations - Week beginning 8th February - discovering our cultures and traditions
Valentines Day- Week beginning 15th February- exploring friendships, families and kindness
Pancake Tuesday- 16th February- we will be enjoying delicious pancakes that the children will be preparing.
Harmony Day- week beginning - 15th March- having conversations about friendships, respecting others and acknowledging diversity.
Earth Hour- March 27th- learning about our earth and how to take care of it.
Kids Gourmet Food
From the 4th of January we have been providing food from Kids Gourmet Food to the children for Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea. We have had a lovely response form the children who all seem to be loving it! A small late snack will still be provided to children who are here past 5pm. If your child refuses the provided meal for the day an alternative will be offered. Children with allergies have been provided with an alternate meal depending on their dietary requirements. If you are continuing to provide your child's food, please ensure that it is egg and nut free to keep all our little friends safe. Our new Centre cook Serena has finally joined us and is excited to prepare the foods provided by KGF.
