Welcome to July. Only 6 more months till Santa comes to visit & most of the Kindergarten children graduate & go off to big school :(

So much has been happening in the centre. First we celebrated Naidoc Week, with the children engaging in a variety of activities, such as drawing the picture in the sand that was placed beside the tray, playing musical instruments while gathered in a yarning circle, completing puzzles of the Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander & Australian flags, painting using the colours of the Aboriginal flag, collaging the Aboriginal flag, tracing & following the lines on the maps.

Secondly we celebrated National Pj day, it was great to see the children & staff come dressed in their nice warm Pj's, the children got to enjoy a short movie & popcorn (older children only) during rest/sleep time.

The kindergarten & Pre-Kindy children had the opportunity to be involved in the STEM program & they decorated their own rockets & watched them being launched into the air, they were so far that some of them landed on the roof of our shed!!

The Kindergarten children also have been very busy creating/constructing roads & tunnels, they have also been designing their very own marble painting, & caring for the babies in Home Corner.
