Wow, what can we say. The year is flying by, we are now thinking about Christmas. with only 7 Friday's to go. The staff are putting their heads together coming up with some great gifts to create for our Wonderful Parents.
Our children's Christmas concert and party will take place on Friday 14th December, starting at 5:00 pm. Get ready for an afternoon/night of entertainment and fun. All families Must RSVP by Friday 30th of November, so no child misses out on the fun evening. Invitations can be found in your child's pocket. If siblings are attending that are not enrolled at the centre, we ask if the families can provide a wrapped book with a name tag for Santa to hand out to them.
the centre is now collecting cans and bottles to go towards fundraising. As we all know every little bit counts.
On Saturday 17th November, a few members of the Piptree team and their children attended a fundraiser. We would like to thank all the families that donated toys to GIVIT to go to children in care. The donations were much appreciated on the day. The aim was to collect around 5000 toys, By the look of the Christmas tree on the day they were well and truly there.
Welcome to the Pips room news,
Thanks to all our families who attended our Spooky Disco, it was great to see our little Pips joining in and showing of their very cool dance moves. :-) Wow where has this year gone !
The Pips have been very busy getting creative with doing their Christmas crafts.
The children have been exploring all the different textures and mediums of the collage materials we have been using to decorate with.
Our babies are growing up so fast! They are all on the move weather it be crawling or walking. They are all interacting and chatting away to each other and forming friendships.
It's been great to see all the children developing and reaching their developmental mile stones.
If there is any family traditions you'd like us to incorporate into the curriculum leading into the festive season of Christmas please let myself or Miss Kayla know as we would love for you to share.
I am putting a reminder board up on top of our lockers for our up coming events Please have look!
A Big Welcome to Willow who has joined our room recently.

Christmas is nearly here. The children are starting their Christmas crafts and gifts, that Miss Maria has organised in her absence.
We have been enjoying our garden's and making sure they are getting watered.
We are also busy learning our Christmas songs for our Christmas concert. We would also like to welcome our new friends into our room. Madison, Amelia and Ryder (that has moved up from the Pip's room)
Miss Shy is doing a fantastic job creating our Snowman out of plastic cups. Have a look in the foyer. We have named him Mr Pips.
A very Merry Christmas to all our families.

Well here we are in November already! We have been very busy down in the Poppies Room participating in messy play day, learning about oral health and having our teeth checked, and celebrating Grandparent's Day and Halloween. Everyone is getting very good at counting and recognising the numbers on our calendar, listing the days of the week, months of the year and seasons, knowing the shapes and colours, and reading all the letters of the alphabet and making their sounds. We are all eagerly awaiting our Graduation night and our big centre Christmas party which are just around the corner.
We'll have lots of work to do in class to get ready so we best get back to it!
A big welcome to Hailee, Phoebe, Jordan and Narri that have recently joined our room
Until next time,
Miss Laura and the Poppies
