News from Kylie
We are quickly approaching the middle of the year.Hopefully the second half of the year will be as busy as the first half, if not more.
We have said good bye to Miss Jamie lee and Miss Kamani this month. We thank them for all there outstanding efforts and wish them both luck in there future endeavours. We are now welcoming Miss Kiranpreet in the poppies room who will be assisting Miss Brie. We also welcome Miss Palwinder who will be the new Schoolies lead educator am and pm and the float around the service. Please help us to make them feel welcome by saying hello next time you see them.
Phoning in ill or late:
Please help us by phoning in if you are arriving late to the centre.Our inside curriculum take place from 9.15am and we encourage all children to be here by this time to ensure they are receiving the highest quality of learning possible.If you are arriving after this time please phone the centre to let us know as we will be deeming children absent after 10am with no phone call.Please also phone if you are not attending the centre due to absence or illness.This will help us out a lot.
Cold and Flu Weather
Yes it is that time again and we can't stress enough that if your child has cold or flu symptoms and is not well enough to attend child care i.e. has a green runny nose; has a temperature; is lethargic or obviously not their normal self; has vomited during the night; is complaining of aches and pains; then please keep them at home until they are well.It is extremely important that we get all parents on board with this as viruses spread very quickly in the childcare environment.
Fundraising
Mother day stall was a great success and we raised $60. Thank you for all the families who participated.
The Home style bake stall was also a good turn out this year raising $80 once again thank you for your ongoing support and helping the centre raise some money.

Reminders
•Please provide a set of cot sheets for your child for rest time.
Your child requires a set of cot sheets for rest time. These should be sent daily
•Please remember to bring your sun safe hat we provided for your child each day.
To enable your child to play outside they require a sun safe hat.Children who attend the centre without a hat will be required to play on the veranda.
•Please send a drink bottle of water with your child each day.
•Sheets and Hats need to be taken home to be washed before returning them to the centre the following week. (The centre does not provide laundry services)
•All items belonging to your child should be clearly labelled with their name.
