Welcome to our February 2022 newsletter!
A very big welcome to all our new families who have recently joined us.
We look forward to getting to know you and your little one and welcoming you into our Kidz Magic family.
Loads has already been happening and we hope you have enjoyed seeing all these moments on our Facebook page and Educa posts.
If you haven't yet accepted the Educa invitation, we encourage you to do so to ensure your able to keep up to date with all the happenings within your child's classroom.
Excursion – Our Kindergarten 2 classroom had their first outing for 2022 this month as they headed over to the Capestone Lake. This excursion lined up perfectly as we have been learning all about our community and what is close by to our Kidz Magic centre. The children spent some time at the playground with a yummy picnic lunch and took turns gazing at the lake and painting what they saw. Google Maps has been fun to explore too! As the year progresses we hope to be able to add a few more experiences like this so stay tuned for any upcoming events as we are always welcoming parent helpers also.
Vacancies – Our centre vacancies are almost full for 2022. If you are interested in picking up any additional days please touch base with reception so we can look at this for you.
If you are an existing family and have your next little one on our waitlist for future care we are asking you to touch base in the next few weeks to advise of your future requests to ensure we have all the information correct for you J
Car Park – Our car park is getting extremely busy and with the back empty block currently blocked off to hold equipment and construction works we are trying to ease the pressure on the busy drop off/pick up periods.
We ask that you please ensure you park well within your lane. That the several parks in front of the front door are used for quick drop off/pick up parking and that if you plan to park here for the day to utilise street parking or the far back car parks.
We are also sharing our carpark now with the wonderful new shop which has opened up next door so we ask that you be mindful that we are busier than normal also.
Child Restraints – A very important reminder that ALL children under the age of 7 years must be safely secured into a 5 point harness car seat at all times. Please ensure your child is buckled up correctly into their chair using the car seat harness as they arrive and depart our service.
House Keeping Reminders – Below is a few things of importance we would like to remind our families:
-Please ensure you are signing in/out each day that you attend. If you need assistance please ask one of our team members and we will be able to support
-Please close the classroom doors behind you and ensure no children follow you in to classrooms without an educator
-Packing a water bottle, sheets, spare clothes and a hat each day is a must
-Please notify us if your child is unwell
-Please apply sunscreen on your child on arrival each morning. We have loads of sunscreen located at any of our sunscreen stations
-Please label your child's belongings
-Our breakfast bar finishes at 8am and morning tea is at 9/9:30am. We ask that you please arrive by 9am each morning so we can start our days activities
