June 2020 Newsletter - Kidz Magic Capestone

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to our latest June newsletter.

A very big welcome back to many of our families.  It's been so lovely to see you all returning.  I'd also like to extend a welcome to our newest Kidz Magic families who have recently joined us or are soon to do so over the coming weeks.  Finally we are starting to see the light at the end of the long tunnel and as things continue to return as they once were it's beginning to feel more and more like home once again.

It's getting cold

As the weather gets colder please remember to layer your children in warm clothes, during the day the rooms are heated and they take off their jumpers. Please remember to also bring extra clothes in your child's bag each day to support the different seasonal changes.

Signing In and Out

An important reminder to please sign your child/children in/out each and every day that they attend.  If you have forgotten to sign your child/children in and out each day please remember when you next sign in you will be asked to confirm the days that they were not signed in. Our rolls are marked by 10am each day.  If you going to be arriving past 9:30am it would be greatly appreciated if you could please call ahead and let us know. Some families have also not been completing this sign in/out each day.  If you can please make this your priority on arrival and departure each day it would be greatly appreciated.

Sickness

The season of sickness is upon us and we are continuing to stick to the requirements around asking unwell children to remain at home and seek Dr's support to confirm they are okay to return to care if symptoms continue or develop further.  Thank you to the families that have continued to kept their sick children at home, now more than ever we need to keep doing this as winter arrives and we see an increase of colds and sickness.

Child Care Subsidy

As mentioned during our latest communication around the return of fees for families in childcare, payments for child care is resuming next month. The first week chargeable is the week beginning 6th July, I have sent out statements a few weeks back to show if there were any credits remaining on the accounts. I hope this has helped you to be prepared and know when to expect your first payment to be debited. If there is a credit there higher than the usual weekly fee your payments won't start until this credit runs out. Statements will be emailed weekly from the week beginning 13th July as usual, so please as always, check your statement each week and let us know if you have any questions along the way.
