Welcome to our second last Newsletter for 2021.
A reminder on the following dates:
Saturday 11th December – Children's Christmas Party.
9am-12pm. Loads of fun to be had.
Thursday 13th January – Kindergarten Graduation.
If you haven't yet RSVP'd please do so as soon as possible.
2022 Confirmation of Enrolment:
A very big thank you to all the families who have completed their 2022 re-enrolments. The information you provide during this time supports us with any updates and requests to best meet your needs.
We have commenced our allocations of 2022 students for the busy year ahead.
The practice of allocating students to a specific class is somewhat trivial from a student-interaction perspective, given our educators and teachers and classes collaborate across their days and spend time getting to know all children within their care.
This level of collaboration continues to grow and deepen each year and is further fostered through our open door programs, rosters, job share and interactions between educators/teachers.
It is our practice to make annual changes to class groupings, fostering the ongoing development of students social and emotional skills by learning about others and forming new peer friendship groups.
Throughout 2021 our team of experienced educators have formed a wise opinion about children who work effectively together and as such, we have a robust process in place for formulating class lists each year taking into consideration:
-Emotional and social development
-Age ranges
-Days required
-Learning needs
-Classroom behaviour
-Friendships
-Educator skill sets to further support development
Each year our team of Educators are also allocated new room environments. This allows for many wonderful things around their professional growth such as:
-Further growth and development
-Continuing to provide challenges, inspiration and motivation
-New team building opportunities
Educators will be notified of their room changes at the end of the year and I will update the rolls accordingly to reflect these changes once they are confirmed.
We believe that both children and adults alike are capable of and should be given the opportunity to make new relationships.
Fostering resilience as we learn to handle new situations and challenge ourselves helps to prepare us for the years ahead.
We are super excited for our busy year ahead!
We also have exciting news of an extension to be built onto our Kidz Magic campus where we will be able to create a new classroom space in 2022.
