Kidz Magic Edens Crossing March Newsletter

Welcome to this month's newsletter, and a welcome to our new families who have joined us the past month.

Bookings- If you are looking for additional days please let us know as soon as possible so that we can assist you

Please keep in mind that we require 2 weeks written notice if your child is finishing up or you are changing your booked days. This is to assist with the rostering. Under government guidelines for receiving the Childcare Subsidy (CCS) a child must attend on their last day when notice to cease care has been given by a parent or the CCS will not be applied and the parent will then be liable for full fees for this absence.

Recycling and sustainability - Our compost bin has been put into action and the older children are being pro-active with this, placing their fruit and vege scraps from meal times in the bin. We have potted up some plant of cuts in recycled pots and placed these at the entry so that we all can watch them grow. The herbs in the raised garden bed are doing well after all the recent rain.

Connecting with the community –please feel welcome to donate non-perishable foods, toiletries or personal items for Keep the faith – Feeding the homeless as this is an ongoing project. Let's work together and help those in the community who need assistance. Thank to those who have donated to our collection already. It is much appreciated.

Parent Committee - We understand that attending meetings when you already have a busy life with work and family are difficult, so we hold monthly Parent Committee 'email meetings. The purpose of this to enable parent to be included in service decisions and have a voice. Our Centre Philosophy has now been updated and a copy is will be emailed out to all families.

The next 'email meeting' will be sent out this week.
