February 2020

It is only the first week of February, and what a busy start to the year it's been!

We have loved having all of our families return from their break, and also welcoming our new families and watching them settle in.

Our aim for this year, like every year, is to continue to strive to provide your child with an exciting play-based program, based on their interests and development.  We have so much planned for this year, so buckle up and get ready to enjoy the ride!

Parent information night

As your children are settling in to their new rooms, and getting to know their new educators, we'd love to give you the opportunity to do the same too!

Monday 24th of February at 6.30pm, we will be hosting a parent information night to give you a chance to meet all our wonderful staff.

This is a time for you to learn more about your children's educators and ask them any questions!

Ms Amor, our Early childhood teacher, will be answering any questions about the Kindergarten program, and Ms Betty - our cook, will be sampling our new menu and giving you a taste of what your children enjoy every day!

If you will be attending please place your name down on the booking list located on the bench next to the sign in & out folder.  We hope you can join us!

Lost Property

As it is so early into the year, and everyone is still getting used to what their belongings look like, we ask that you please label EVERYTHING that you send in with your children.  This includes your child's bag, clothes, shoes, toys, bottles, hats etc.

We do our best to ensure children's belongings are sent home every day, and to prevent lost property, however, sometimes things get taken by others accidentally.  It would make a huge difference in helping us to recover lost items if you could please label them.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to see me.

Kindergarten Acknowledgements

I am still needing a number of kindergarten acknowledgment forms back from a few parents.

If your child is in the Poppies room, please see me to fill out a Kindergarten acknowledgment form.  You will then need to bring in a copy of your child's birth certificate or passport.

 Sun Safety

Please ensure your child comes in with a hat every day they attend.

We do not offer spare hats, so if your child doesn't have a hat they will be asked to play on the veranda.
