Welcome back to a New year! I hope you had a relaxing festive celebration period, and that you are now recharged and ready to take on the year ahead with us! Let's get into it.
Transitions are the part of the curriculum, which facilitates a change or a movement, which indicates the end of one and the beginning of another experience. We are ready and excited as this reflects another milestone in your child's growth.
Most of our children are transitioning into new rooms this week. Though this is a great indication of their growth, it can also be an unsettling time for both children and families. The children are entering new rooms with new teachers and new relationships are yet to be established. This is very common and it will last for a few weeks, but we would like to assure you with patience, time and positivity they will settle into happy little learners once again.
Please take the educators' advice to hug/kiss your child, give them a short reassurance that they will be fine and leave the area. Feel free to contact the educators by phoning our service at any time.
If you have any concerns, please see Natasa
We offer daily a variety of extra activities in our service to actively engage with local businesses.
On Mondays, Swaggie Man Music program visits our kindergarten classes and teaches children to play different instruments.
On Tuesdays, Superkidz offers classes combining music, sports, fitness, dancing and education. The program promotes confidence, creativity and coordination.
On Wednesdays we have Happy Feet Fitness! These entertaining classes inspire and encourage children to make positive healthy choices for themselves, the world around them, and in their relationships with others.
On Thursdays, Maggie Moo Music is a great fun and interactive regular music session for under 5's.
On Fridays we offer Grasshopper Soccer a non-competitive soccer program for children aged 2-5 yrs. We play interactive & fun games.
All details are displayed in our foyer.
Please check our Family and Community Wall for details of the coming events of the first quarter of this year. Please feel free to add some ideas as any family's input is highly appreciated. Looking forward to your contribution.
Keep smiling, Natasa
