November News

From the office

December is fast approaching, and I'm sure most of us know what our children want for Christmas. Before your children wake up early on that important morning of December 25th, please consider what they will be opening from under the tree.

Learning through play is an incredibly important part of a child's early development. They make use of their senses, observe others, solve problems… Many people might think that toys are merely given to children to entertain them, and to give the parents half an hour of peace. This is not a way to think of children's toys. The truth is, toys are tools which can help your child learn about themselves, the environment around them, and develop new skills.

"Playing is learning and learning is playing", therefor children deserve high quality learning resources. When you are going to buy a new toy for your child ask yourself some questions. Is it easy to play with? Will it be beneficial to play with? Is it meaningful to my child? What skills will this allow my child to develop? Will it be challenging? Educational toys are one of the best option for your child. They are often designed with skills development in mind, and will almost certainly be beneficial for your child long term. All toys meet the newest international quality standards of being safe and ecological.

This Christmas we have a special something in store for you! Head on over to the Piptree Shop (shop.piptree.com.au/) to take a look at our product list of educational and gorgeous wooden toys.

Graduation

I learned my ABCs and 123s

I know my colours

And when to say please

It's time to move on

I had lots of fun …

Look out Prep here I come!

It's that time of the year! Graduation is here!

Our kindergarten children have worked very hard this year, whether leaning numbers and shapes, but growing into confident little learners ready to embrace a new and exciting journey.

We have had pleasure of sharing your child's growth and development over the past year and would like to invite their families to join us in celebrating your child's momentous achievements.

A performance will be delivered by kindergarten children through songs and a poem and then their proud moment, the GRADUATION CEREMONY.

It will be our greatest honour to share this occasion with you, which will be held on Thursday, 29th of November 2018 at Piptree Early Learning Sunnybank Hills. Please arrive between 5 and 5.15pm for commencement at 5.30pm.

We are looking forward in an amazing evening with you!

Christmas Party

Magical December is near, and it brings the festivities and magic of Christmas. On Saturday, 1st of December, we will be hosting our annual Christmas Party at 10 o'clock in the morning. After some fun activities prepared by our educators and finger food, we will also introduce Ocean Life Education marine scientist this year. They will host an interactive display and answer your questions, while we eagerly await the arrival of the man himself, Santa Claus. He will give each child a book which we are asking parents to supply. Please, bring a wrapped book, with your child's name on it, to a room staff member, or myself, at your earliest convenience, but before or on Friday, 30.11.2018.

Re-Enrolment Forms for 2019
