And just like that 2021 is coming to an end.........Welcome to the last of 2021 newsletters, I cant believe the year is nearly over!
We would like to thank all of our wonderful families for trusting us with your children's education and care this year. 2022 is shaping up to be a very busy year already, if you are thinking of adding any extra days of care for your child please do so very soon as places are filling fast.
Over the holiday period some fulltime educators will be taking leave. I have employed some new casuals to accommodate this. Miss Ghaina, Miss Cesalia, Miss Safi and Miss Aniseh.
We also have a new Teacher joining us in 2022. Miss Sindu has a diploma in children's services and is currently working towards her Masters in Teaching, she should be finished that by the end of 2022. In the mean time she will be working with Miss Joann in the kindergarten room. Miss Joann will still be delivering the Kindergarten program on Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. Miss Sindu will be in the room Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. Miss Sindu will be starting on the 4th January so she will have some time to find her feet and get to know the centre and families before the Kindergarten program starts on the 24th January.
Miss Megha has now left to start her maternity leave, we wish her and her family al the best in 2022 and a safe arrival of their baby.
Opening hours/ days over the holidays
The centre will be closed all public holidays, Monday 27th & Tuesday 28th December 2021 closed. Monday 3rd January 2022 closed, If any of these days are your normal booked days you will still be charged for the day. If you are going to keep your child away any days between Christmas and new year please fill in a holiday form or call/ email the centre so we can arrange staff / child ratios.
The centre will also close at 6pm Christmas eve not 6.15pm as normal.
Room changes for 2022
The children will be changing rooms on the week starting 24th January. The names of the children moving up will be posted on the room doors the week before. If you have any questions please see Leanne in the office.
Tooth Brushing Program
🦷😬 Toothbrushing 😬🦷
Asking all parents to please bring in a new toothbrush for your child if you have not done so recently. The children's toothbrushes are ready for the bin please name your brush and give to your child class teacher ASAP. The Dental Van will be visiting us again on Wednesday 9th February 2022
